Is Forex Transformer a Holy Grail of EA's?

Are you kidding me? Right away, with the first glance at the company's web site, we were just shocked to see big red letters advertising how the system has 96% winning trades. If they are thinking of taking 1 pip per profit taking while allowing 1000 pips of loss, maybe that would be possible. Otherwise, that’s as close to holly grail as anyone can get - but again, only and only if those 4% of losers are controlled and kept low.

But wait a second! Right above those huge advertising, eye catching words is the document of the back testing which clearly shows that winning trades are around 80%. So which one is it then, holly grail or just another system that has small profit taking targets and large stop loss orders raising their profitability trades while doing little to the long term performance? Then the second red flag is raised once you just scroll down and notice that the company itself is saying that above generated results were obtained by “higher risk settings” - meaning they played around a lot to be able to show those results. Nice for them to give explanation before we back tested it and found the stated results misleading.
It really depends what time period and what parameter you select to back test it on. Although, It says that this system can be run on all currency pairs, it seemed to be only optimized to fit EUR/USD –at least in the back testing.

Another worrisome factor is that the results it generates duplicate those of the EA called Forex Conqueror. So what is really going on – piracy or different marketing strategy? For us, that was a third red flag, enough to walk away.

If you decide to check it out anyway, make sure you fully understand the risk parameters. The company offers 60 days back of the full $97 purchasing price though reputable ClickBank – so you can always back test it yourself and see if it can help you diversify your portfolio.
